Description

Member Manager II is a basic password management program that allows you to create and manage password protected directories on your website. If used from the ground up ( meaning if you create all new managed directories below the management root ) it will insert valid .htaccess files into the directories for you. Or, if you wish to protect directories outside of the pre-set manager root, you can use the .htaccess template and upload the file to the appropriate directory yourself.

Either way, managing users for multiple groups becomes as simple as clicking a button.

System Requirments

1) Perl 5.
2) Unix.
3) The ability to use .htaccess on your server.

To use this program you must have the ability to use .htaccess files freely on your server. If you are unsure of the procedure for password protecting directories, please contact your System Administrator.
